Sr. Collibra Developer
Duration – 6 months+
Location – Seattle, WA
The Sr Application Developer will lead the Metadata Exchange (MDX) team in delivering an enterprise Data Governance built on the Collibra platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, proficiency, platform depth, and leadership.
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated application developer senior who is technically very strong with strong background, in Collibra metadata management tool, and has deep knowledge of workflow development programming, experience configuring, experience with Collibra connect, experience with Manta, customizing and integrating data across multiple platform. Typical activities include developing business process workflows, developing integration between Collibra and other systems, configuring Collibra per business requirements, code/configuration migration between different environments. Production monitoring, creating monitoring dashboards, setting up alerts, triaging alerts. In this role, person will be responsible for creating and driving the technical vision for the team that designs, develops, tests, and operates our platform services end to end. Working with functional analysts and other cross functional team to implement, customize and integrate data across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
Implement Collibra Workflows to enable data management capabilities
Developing integration between Collibra and other systems leveraging Collibra API
Configuring Collibra per business requirements
Work with Collibra Connect to integrate application with Collibra Data Governance Center
Work with Manta to extract data from different systems/applications for Data Lineage.
Partner with Data Stewards for requirements, integrations and processes, participate in meetings and working sessions
Partner with Data Management and integration leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processes
Outline and apply software development best practices
Responsible for health of production system
Responsible for upgrades and future developments of Data Governance tool suites.
Candidate Requirements
At least 5-6 years of IT experience. Collibra experience. Computer Science degree preferred.
Requires 7+ years experience in the IT industry
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management.
Experience leading multiple Collibra implementations, SAAS implementation preferred
Experience with metamodel design
Experience and strong proficiency with workflow development tools.
Familiarity with code repository and version control tools such as Bitbucket
Experience with REST/API.
Strong SQL background with many RDBMS such as: SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres
Knowledge of NoSQL DB.
Experience in working with Linux environment.
Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Extensive understanding in SDLC and scrum methodologies.
