Position:Sr. Cloud Operations
Location: Chicago, IL
Length: 7 months
Responsible for providing functional support of Cloud applications and serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Required: -2-3 years of experience working with infrastructure delivery and implementation
-Solid understanding of infrastructure components including:
-Vm based servers (both vmware and hyper-v)
-Network configuration including firewalls and load balancers
-Base understanding of Windows Servers 2008+ and RedHat Linux Servers 6.7-present
o Ability to lead a team to resolution on design and approach
-Experience with and ability to deliver design contents with visio, powerpoint, word and excel
-Good at managing multiple initiatives -Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy
-Gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototype functional configuration, testing, user training
-Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to solve problems involving remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple business areas/functions
Desired:
-Azure implementation experience including provisioning, decomm and management
-Understanding of Rest API connectivity, curl statements and integration
-Automation tools including powershell, ansible and teraform
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments -Eagerness to mentor work colleagues
-PowerBI report creation and publishing
