Required Role and Skills details:
Monitor and Manage Production Tidal jobs
Document (incident ticket) and remediate failed jobs – Escalation to App Ops, EIM and Third parties for remediation, ensuring resolution within SLAs
Perform analysis, design and implementation of batch processing workflows using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Prepare test strategy, plans and data for testing new deployments and/or enhancement.
Develop and monitor performance metrics and reports to identify issues and conduct predictive analysis.
Support development teams with batch related Change Requests.
Assist in developing or improving batch operations best practices.
Ensure testing and documentation guidelines to meet prior to production release of new components.
Manages developer’s expectation and business priorities to achieve overall team satisfaction
Understands the business requirements and structure plans, processes, and procedures to address customer requests quickly and effectively within guidelines
Escalates problems as necessary and provides timely status until transferred or resolved.
Ensures the viability and usability of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler products and services requested by the application area without compromising the infrastructure and ensures requested Tidal Enterprise Scheduler product and services are appropriate for the customer business needs and within the scope of their budget.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have 6+ years of experience with an IT workload automation tool - Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
Strong knowledge of batch processing and scheduling methodologies
Experience with Windows/Unix scripting
Minimum knowledge/experience with some or all application knowledge is ideal.
