Title – Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Location – Mason, OH
Duration – 12 Months

* Looking for candidates with 9+ years of experience
* Previous healthcare experience must

Systems Analyst:
Responsible for defining and managing the scope of business systems projects. Manages integrated functionality,
usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Provides the link between the technical
and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of
the business. Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements. Anticipates and identifies opportunities for
improvement. Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to
approved requirements.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Evaluates high-level business requirements for delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or
integration solutions
-Liaises between business and IT to refine and transform high-level business requirements into detailed business and
technical requirements
-Develops functional, technical and non-functional requirements through the use of standard requirements analysis techniques and
documents in the appropriate tools with standard semantics.
-Ensures requirements are complete, articulated in an easy to understand manner and ready for development to begin
design documents
-Partners with business while participating in solution design to ensure requirements are being fulfilled adequately
-Develops use cases for use by developers, test schedules, reviews testing plan, tracks and documents results according
to plan. Ensure design can be tested and validated.
-Communicates requirement changes and impacts to both business and IT.
-Analyzes business and IT processes.
-Collaboratively works with the development team to ensure that functionality created aligns with the business
requirements and matches the business process needs
-Facilitate and influence discussions on various solution options, outlining the advantages, disadvantages and potential
risk associated with each approach
-Develops and maintains relationships with both functional and technical counterparts
-Alerts project managers to potential risks and issues of importance
-Creates and performs unit and proof of concept testing.
-Ability to document current and future state process flows is required.
-Excellent communication skills required.
-Experience creating use case and activity diagrams is desired.
-Enrollment and Billing Insurance industry experience preferred
-Experience with health insurance exchanges and EDI 834s preferred
