Position: Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Location: Wayne, NJ
Interview Process: Phone screen then F2F
Environment
Upcoming projects are focused in the areas of HR and Payroll
Person will be working on various projects, want them to be there long term – they will invest in them - Workload will be 1 large or 2 small projects at a time
Dynamic/Fast paced environment – they will be meeting with developers and learning
24 people on the team – 10 BA’s, 7 support staff
Team is predominately waterfall - moving to agile
Must Have’s
Great communication skills, written & oral
Candidate should be able to:
Flow out a process and lead a meeting
Run a work session and write an agenda
Develop a flow chart using Visio and Swimlanes and present back to the team
Write requirements and user stories
Write documentations, take minutes
Interact with Sponsors
Details of Position:
He/She serves as a liaison between the business community and Information Services (I.S. This position elicits and analyzes business needs for highly complex projects and validates that solutions fit within the long-term strategic vision. The Senior Business Systems Analyst determines the impact and integration of solutions to business processes and systems. He/She ensures Business Systems Analysis (BSA) work products conform to quality and content standards. This position stays current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools, and techniques. He/She collaborates with organizational stakeholders and senior management to establish and implement processes that enhance efficiency, and improve work products for the enterprise.
