Job Description :
o Sr. Business Analyst assigned to
manage the Data Review efforts and oversee the work efforts of a team of 10-20 Business representatives dedicated to reviewing legacy data being migrated into the new ERP application;
assist in analyzing and documenting of Custom Events (fields, tabs, screens and events) in our new ERP application;
assist in analyzing, documenting and tracking of Data Migration issues;
o Play the role of Liaison between Tech Team, Tech Lead, Business SMEs and Project Manager;
o Reports directly to the Tech Lead;

o Data Requirements Analysis
o Document business requirements into specifications to implement the required functionalities, created from potentially multiple data sources and multiple Business Analysts.
Communicate and Coordinate Data Migration Extract changes
o Communicate any errors/issues discovered during Data Review to Tech Team to ensure appropriate updates are made to data extracts - identify the error, facilitate a solution with the business, BAs, and TLs, and then communicate that solution to the Tech team.
o Coordinate efforts to include detailed discussions, samples, etc., to ensure the Business SME requests are clear for technical developers
o Write/Edit Extraction and Transformation scripts using T-SQL or PL/SQL from legacy systems and/or IFS ERP
o Provide estimated work effort for all assigned tasks to be completed for project assignments
o Establish milestones and deadlines for Business SMEs
o Create tracking logs with easily identifiable status for reporting
o Facilitate weekly team status meetings with the Business SMEs to ensure work efforts are meeting deadlines and communicate to Tech Lead and Project Manager as requested
o Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

Other Skills/experiences
o Experience in business and technical analysis with extensive experience with MS Office and Visio;
o Experience with MS SQL Server T-SQL or Oracle PL-SQL
o Database Administration experience is a plus but not required.
o Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
o Able to work closely with technical resources to collaborate on potential solution options, but willing to accept final decisions from Tech Lead
o Ability to complete business workflow analysis and document process / business function workflows
o Demonstrated ability to effectively complete assignments independently or as a part of a team (both technical and non-technical team-members)
o Demonstrated ability to effectively complete multiple concurrent assignments, prioritize work & execute effective time management to meet aggressive deadlines
o Experience working in a project management environment with related processes and tools
o Experience working in a fast-paced and flexible to changing priorities
o Strong oral and written communications, human relations skills, facilitation and presentation skills
