Title : Sr. Business Analyst
Client : CCD ( City of County Denver )
Location : Downtown – Denver -CO
Duration : 12 months
Visa : GC/USC ( Locals )
Dead Line : 31st Dec 2018

Description: The Sr. Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for working closely with the team in an agile and or waterfall development format while providing just in time requirements (in various formats), process flows and assisting in developing and delivering proof of concept demonstrations to key stakeholders.
Have experience in operating as a Business Analyst / Product Owner in an agile framework (such as Scrum) and also within more sequential project methodologies (i.e. waterfall)
Have 5+ years recent working experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus around upfront customer facing process analysis and requirements gathering against produced process analysis outputs
Have a CCBA or CBAP certification (preferred, not required)
Experience in working in a human resources environment and or learning management experience in a Business Analyst function (preferred, not required)

Expected Responsibilities:
Requirements engineering (business, stakeholder, functional, solution and transition level requirements)
Business process design and documentation (workflow modeling, BPMN experience a plus) o Analysis of existing processes (as-is modeling) and ability to bridge to-be state processes • Assess captured business requirements against enterprise platform capabilities (fit gap analysis)
Participation in the city’s Request for Proposal process
Rapid design and development of proof of concepts / prototypes • System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and facilitation • Issue tracking & resolution coordination • Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will: • Have an excellent professional attitude with strong interpersonal communication, facilitation and presentation skills • Be customer experience focused (customer empathizing)
Be highly capable in conflict resolution and negotiation
Be able to articulate platform capabilities shape customer demand against platform offerings
