Job Role: Sr. Bigdata Consultant
Location: Ewing, NJ
Duration: 6 months+
MOI: Phone then In-Person
What you’ll do:
Develop, support global analytics applications for multiple time zone consumers. This position requires:
The ability to architect, code and support the analytics systems to meet global business needs
The ability to translate business requirements into technical design documents
The ability to configure and support cloud based analytics systems
The ability to resolve functional and technical challenges with Apache spark and NO-SQL based environment on LINUX.
Conducts business needs analysis, documents results as technical requirement, and propose related technical changes.
Champion full life cycle implementation of analytics solution including code development, versions, application performance, scalability, etc.
Create, maintain, monitor and analyze master data in ERP and/or other integrated solutions in compliance with established service levels
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years solid hands on programming experience in any modern big-data technologies i.e. Apache Spark, No-SQL or Elastic Search
Expertise with Linux and cloud based hosting (virtual machines, PAAS, hybrid, etc
Working knowledge of logical data warehouse, java script frameworks, performance optimization, git, etc.
Relevant experience respective to area of responsibility (i.e., technical code review, application architecture patterns, onshore/offshore model, etc, particularly in consumer products industry.
