As a BMC Remedy SME work with Program Manager and other Solution Architects in creating detailed optimal solutions for the client in terms of design and architecture keeping in mind functional and non-functional requirement The person for this position will be expected to possess solid experience in implementing, customizing and configuring BMC Remedy ARS and complete ITSM suite
Installs, configures, and customizes software solutions using the BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS) platform
Installs, configures, and customizes software solutions using the BMC Remedy IT Service Management ITSM), MyIT and SmartIT Applications
Performs ARS Server and ITSM Applications upgrades and applies patches
Leverages the software development lifecycle to design, build, test, and implement solutions based on customers’ requirements
Assists in defining user requirements within the Remedy ITSM client applications
Designs and provides software solutions in ARS ensuring the process flow of the Remedy ITSM modules
Documents coding changes to be used for test and migration plans
Troubleshoots software bugs using client and server logging
Packages coding changes for releases so code to be migrated between the applicable environments, e.g., development, test, training, and production
Provides the Operations and Maintenance Team system support, as needed
Performs standard administration system configuration
Works as part of a team on client engagements
Person must be ITIL and BMC certified
