Role - SQL Developer with Healthcare

Location - Irvine, CA(Either Local or Nearby)

Contract Position

The SQL Developer will work with operational support to understand data
requirements surrounding the exchange and reporting of data as well as with
engineering for necessary table structure or other code needed to support
those data requirements yet ensure optimal performance and scalability. The
SQL Developer will need to execute against projected plans while meeting
changing production needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and
implementation of a database.
* Design and manage the enterprise data warehouse - data marts, facts
and dimensions
* Design, develop and unit test new database code to support
requirements, using database triggers, stored procedures and views.
* Migrate data by writing data extract, transforming, and loading
routines for both loading new data as well as performing migration.
* Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
* Monitor production sizing information in order to possibly prevent
future performance issues.
* Assist application developers in writing complex queries to optimize
performance.
* the Healthcare Provider and Managed care space
* Lead and mentor team members and customers in best practices and
techniques to implement and manage a Data Warehouse system.
5+ years of SQL development.
3+ Experience in data integration within
The Healthcare Provider and Managed care space
An ability to understand front-end user''s requirements and a problem-solving
attitude.
Advanced SQL Server with demonstrated capability using MS SQL.
Previous experience working in Healthcare will be preferred
Excellent analytic and problem solving capabilities.
Good organizational, interpersonal and team skills.
