Job Description:

Support the Splunk enterprise monitoring initiative. You will assist in the Splunk monitoring of Data Center and Cloud applications and infrastructure.
You will assist in the installation, provisioning, configuring, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Splunk components within the Data Center and also in the Cloud.
You will collaborate with the engineering, development, integration, and test teams in the development and deployment of the new Splunk platform.
This role ensures our enterprise solutions for enterprise monitoring meets requirements for accurate measurements, correlation, availability, capacity, alerting, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable.

MS in Computer Science or equivalent combined work experience with a BA or BS degree in CS.
2+ years of experience with Splunk and Splunk Cloud on a large enterprise level
5+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, architecture, administration, and/or java applications
Splunk training and/or certifications would be a major plus
Ability to build custom searches and visualizations in both Splunk Core and Splunk ITSI
Experience with one or more of the following server technologies: Java, Node, .NET, or PHP.
Experience with Cloud environment services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in Python scripting is highly preferable.
Regex experience is highly preferable.
Ability to perform a variety of highly complicated tasks simultaneously.
