Job Title: Splunk Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months contract to hire
Job Description:
7-10 years of full-stack software development
2-3 years experience designing and implementing Splunk-based best practice solutions
Splunk indexers, forwarders, search heads, configuration files, apps, searches, data models, dashboards, visualizations alerts and user roles
Ability to develop complex Splunk dashboards and visualizations using queries and simple XML
Splunk - large clusters XML
Experience in security field
Experience and knowledge of data tiering in Splunk is essential
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Partner with Product Owners to develop high quality and industry best practice solutions
Identify and prototype innovative concepts to create opportunities and resolve challenges
Experience leading engineers from inception through implementation while being hands-on
Ability to coordinate activities with multiple teams spread across various geographical locations
Strong leadership and judgment in executing under tight deadlines and competing priorities
