3 years of Splunk experience.

Skills –
Share responsibility for the administrative support of the Splunk product for installation, upgrades, configuration and maintenance.
Participate in face-to-face customer meetings to determine monitoring and log consolidation needs.
Be able perform installation of universal, heavy forwarders, indexers, deployment and license management servers.
Perform data management including index administration, routing and data retention.
Configure data inputs, file precedence, roles, users and authentication.
Have good knowledge of Splunk troubleshooting, internal queues and processing.
Create automated scripts to assist with installation and configuration of products, and schedule and verify automated installs and upgrades.

Respond to user problem calls for supported products and share 24 x 7 on-call support.
First-line contact for vendor problem resolution.
Add and maintain team and product documentation.
Perform product verification after outages and releases.
