Job Responsibilities for Splunk Admin
Define and develop monitoring architecture direction/vision to enable achievement of the business unit/function''s and Technology infrastructure group strategy
Lead key log management and analysis platform(s) discipline by driving technology strategy, implementation and adoption
Develop/ implement patterns and best practices for the platform(s
Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
Identify trade-offs and negotiate viable compromise meeting both architecture and business goals and requirements
Keep abreast of technology trends and advancements
Provide technical input into strategy/capability planning and annual portfolio planning efforts

Experience in Architecture, Design, and Configuration of Network Security Tools - Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Proxy
Experience in Security Transformation Projects - Design, Document, Build, Transition. SDLC Documentation
Strong Security credentials with certifications like Security +, CISSP, SANS certification
Preferred security tools experience in McAfee, Cisco, Boldon James, TrendMicro, Venafi, McAfee ENS, EDR, Cisco Firewall, PKI, Tripwire
Good understanding on the Infra security architecture, Experience in engineering infra security solutions
