JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Duties:

o The primary responsibility of the Middleware Administrator is design, development and support of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions.
o The Middleware Administrator supports and documents the installation, configuration, capacity planning, upgrading, problem resolution and debugging of all middleware product environments.
o Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
o Colloborate on definition of infrastructure standards and contribute to the overall architecture roadmap.
o Leads technical design and provides consulting including identification and documentation of requirements and design; including communications, security, auditability, availability and recoverability.
o Coordinates environment configuration activities to ensure integration and alignment with other IT technology, processes, systems, applications, and environments Providing cross-training and knowledge sharing that improves organizational capabilities and results in successful support of Middleware Services products.
o Colloborate and leads the installation, configuration and upgrading of enterprise application software, customizing soft tables and program parameters and managing associated environments.
o Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
o Document middleware platforms and related infrastructure as directed with respect to functionality, maintenance and administration.
o Install and configure server operating systems, enterprise software and middleware services, including settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
o Recommend and lead improvements to provide the highest level of availability and performance.
o Provides technical support and guidance (level 3) to end-users, and other IT resources.
o This support is provided in a manner that relates best practice experience in how to troubleshoot, correct, and prevent issues
o Follows policies and procedures to ensure corporate compliance, examples include corporate data security and change control.
o Freely shares information, providing guidance to technical team members who have less experience and expertise
Requirements:
o SOA & WebLogic 12c Administration knowledge - SOA & WebLogic 12c Administration knowledge 1+ years
o SOA & Weblogic 11g Administration Knowledge SOA & Weblogic 11g Administration Knowledge 6+ years
o Installing, configuring and tuning SOA Suite 11g and SOA Suite 12c - Oracle SOA (Composites, BPEL, BPM) Oracle Service Bus OWSM - 1+ years
o Installing, configuring, and tuning Oracle WebLogic to support SOA Suite experience with WebLogic 12c. 4+ years

o Perl, Python and Wlst - Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python and Wlst. Particularly around automation of deployments, builds, and configurations 4+ years
o RAC database with SOA/Weblogic - Knowledge and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting RAC database with SOA/Weblogic - 1+ years
o SOA Cluster Experience - Working in a clustered SOA environment 4+ years
o Strong Verbal/Written communication skills, Ability to transfer knowledge to peers/employees, work effectively as individual and with team, must be a self-starter and be able to plan/communicate technical and project work
o Quickly identify, recommend and implement solutions to incidents/issues/problems with SOA/Weblogic related to performance, configuration, patching, upgrdes, etc. Hand on experience in configuration and troubleshooting in clustered weblogic and RAC database environment specific to SOA/Weblogic Ability to take ownership of SOA issues and manage through resolution
