5+ years of IT experience
2+ years of hands-on Spark experience is required.
Strong background in Scala or Java programming.
Experience with Hadoop – deep understanding of internals of Hadoop, Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, Sqoop.
Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs and expertise in performance tuning of SQLs / Hive queries.
Should have strong verbal & written communication skills.
Should be able to think out of the box, drives for excellence and is self-motivated.
Hands-on working experience of Linux/Unix, git, maven.
Experience of working in onsite/offshore model
Desirable: Python programming exp
