Our client, is the largest privately held insurance company domiciled in California, seeks an accomplished Senior Solutions Architect.

Description:
Translates business strategy and objectives into architecture design patterns and solutions. Provides support for architecture discipline as defined by departmental requirements.
Provides overall direction, guidance, definition and facilitation for the development of architecture required to meet business strategies and goals.
Define, maintain, and manage architecture models, frameworks and artifacts (e.g. current and future state application architecture diagrams, etc.
Promote the IT Architecture process, outcomes and results specifically by leading the Architecture Review Board team and owning the application lifecycle management process.
Ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic requirements.
Guide the design of enterprise-wide initiatives to integrate systems; manage and lead all efforts to advance, simplify and educate team members on the integration platform (MuleSoft
Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical/solution architecture to accommodate project needs.
Own the technical engagement and technical delivery of implementation projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant field.
Proven experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, software development methodologies such as Agile.
8+ years of professional experience; with prior experience as a Developer.
Must be strong in both .NET and Java programming.
Must be strong in technical documentation.
Strong background in networking, security, and databases. Must have strong knowledge in networking and security. Experience working in both Linux and Windows.
Deep experience in enterprise-level architecture, emerging technologies, large-scale solutions and security architectures.
Deep logical and physical architecture specification experience, technical risk assessment, testing methodologies and non-functional specification definition.
Proficiency in software development lifecycle, code management, and release management. Agile development experience preferred.
