Description
A strong hands-on Solutions Architect with technical skills across multiple disciplines focused on public and private cloud, application and infrastructure integration, disaster recovery technology planning and support, as well as an escalation point for operations activities. The role would require a combination of being a technical leader while also delivering solutions and optimizing performance across the technology enterprise. This position drives infrastructure transformation initiatives and improves operational processes by partnering across multiple teams: Infrastructure, Systems, Network, DBA, Security, Datacenter, DevOps, Automation and Application Development.
Essential Functions
Design, configure, deploy and monitor infrastructure solutions and platforms in order to maximize performance, stability, and resiliency
Ability to login and debug to support multiple systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows
Work closely with project managers to help mediate and complete project tasks
Track incidents, changes, and problems to provide insights, themes, and drive optimization
Provide advisory services and recommendations to improve overall application stability and availability and the supporting infrastructure.
Participate in resolving high-severity outages impacting IT applications and infrastructure and provide problem resolution for highly complex issues as required
Participate and drive disaster recovery planning, and business continuity of the company''''''''s information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan, implementation, and documentation
Participate in the development of design strategy, including technology standardization and modernization, and engineering best practices for the enterprise cloud strategy
Manage priorities, projects, schedules, resources, issues, and risks effectively
Qualifications
Store experience with major infrastructure components such as Servers, Storage, Network, Databases
Engineering and hands-on skills with Servers, Storage, Network, Loadbalancers, and other technology products supporting the enterprise
Experience with Cisco network equipment and concepts. Effectively communicate requirements to network teams for work completion
Hands on experience with public and private cloud infrastructures (AWS, VMWare, Azure, and OpenStack)
