Role: CPQ / Apttus Solution Architect
Location: Minneapolis, MN, USA or Carrollton, TX
Required Qualifications:
A proven solution architect with 7+ years of design/architect experience and at least 2 full life cycle SalesForce.com implementations, with strong expertise in at least two of the following areas/modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, marketing Cloud with mandatory experience in Apttus CPQ Tool
Apttus Quote to cash certified (201 and/or 202)
Strong functional knowledge of Quote-To-Cash, Configuration, Product, Pricing and Quoting functionality
Deep understanding of Sales business processes
Must have Salesforce developer/admin certification with 3+ years of development experience with Apex, VisualForce, Force.com and Angular JS
Web Application UI Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, Struts)
Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, AJAX, JSON)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in CRM tool set and have worked with JavaScript, Java, Rules Engines, Object Modeling, or XML
Minimum of 2 years of design and coding skills in JSP, RIA, or SQL
Experience with Commerce, Configuration, Output, SFDC integration, product catalog/price list integration
JIRA experience
Responsibilities:
Ability to lead/facilitate design and modeling sessions with the client.
Lead the creation of project deliverables, spanning from process to system design elements with an emphasis on functional and technical design.
Works closely with Business leaders, process owners and SMEs to gather business requirements / business processes.
Provide CPQ solutions alternatives to business and suggest solutions that have optimized and efficient ROI.
Translates CPQ business requirements to solution design specification.
Understand, design, supervise, and create technical configurations using Configuration product’s tools, languages scripts based technologies.
Ability to design, implement, and test leading-edge Quote and Product Configuration integrations with SFDC.
Ability to create robust large-scale production applications.
Ability to create prototypes quickly and re-architect them for production readiness.
If needed, coordinate developer tasks on large projects; lead design and code reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Provides guidance on all phases of SDLC and the impact of Apttus CPQ.
Support testing and root cause analysis, and provides lessons learned.
Mentor junior staff.
