RESPONSIBILITIES • Leads functional teams or projects within or across teams • Evaluates internal or external business issues and recommends best practices • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills • Be a team player that motivates and educates other team members • Developing design patterns for common problems to ensure consistency and quality of development • Contribute to and implement standards and changes to systems and processes • Ensuring design and development follows enterprise standards, processes and policies • Ensuring Data transformations are done correctly • Collaboratively working with other groups by offering technical expertise where required • Leading maturity and transformation of platforms, developing new capabilities • Supporting multiple concurrent efforts • Mentor SOA Developers, other team members • Participate in Business Requirement discussions, identify system impacts and provide Business Requirements, System Requirement Specifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • College degree in Information Technology and minimum of 10+ years’ work experience in Information Technology. • Experience in full development life-cycle phases • Experience in Relational Database Management Systems. • Experience in On-premise, Cloud and Hybrid solutions. • Working knowledge of systems development life cycle and use of structured methodologies and techniques. • Solid in-depth experience in SOA, ESB, and API governance • Solid understanding of JEE client and web application architectures. • Proven experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities. • Good architectural understanding SOA, Microservices, Event Driven Architecture. • 8+ years object-oriented software development/architecture experience in JEE • Proven experience designing applications and defining solution architectures and technology (SOA, EAI, etc • Advanced knowledge of system to system integration • Experience with several programming languages and understanding of data access needs • Experience with Mulesoft is a plus • Experience with Hybrid clouds is a plus • Experience with Azure is a plus
