Position: Solution Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 3 + months
Required: Architect for design and delivery of complex solutions with SF/Informatica/Oracle/Hadoop, SF Certs, Lead proof of concepts
Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent - 15+ years relevant experience preferred - 7+ years of relevant architecture leadership experience preferred
- Applications Architect position - Multiple SFDC certifications preferred - Proven success in applying a structured approach to analyze business problems and architect innovative technology-based solutions within the defined enterprise guidelines and standards
- Lead proof of concepts and development of evaluation matrix through final recommendation. - Hands-on expertise required to drive business process modeling, POC''s, Pilots and solution implementations.
- Acknowledged expert of a complex business, application, security, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture domain e.g. architected all tiers of the data platform, architected core components & frameworks, architected complex business, security, application or infrastructure solutions
- Ability to define, maintain and manage architecture models, frameworks and artifacts (business processes, application, data, security, network, infrastructure, enterprise, etc.,) and their building blocks (lower level component) for a business, application, security, infrastructure or enterprise domain
- Ability to understand business objectives and recommend the right business process, architecture model, design pattern and solution approach.
- Actively lead technology pilots to analyze new business capabilities and architecture fit to enable continuous and rapid adoption of new tools and solutions
- In-depth understanding of architectural landscape, including: Deep knowledge of at least one major architectural area (WebDev, AppStore, Business, Integration, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise, etc Good understanding of ALL other major architectural areas Has acted as an architect in multiple functional areas or in an enterprise architecture disciple in the past
- Ability to architect solutions and support design/delivery of complex feature groups in a specific functional area across the full landscape Deep understanding of functional & technical flows across the landscape Deep understanding of SFDC product architecture OR Comparable experience in a major corporation
- Expert in architected and supporting delivery of solutions leveraging a major technology employed in IT: Informatica On prem, Salesforce Cloud, Oracle Exadata, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS and good understanding of remaining technologies, Architecture tool like Truox, Graffel, Erwin, etc.,
- Aware of and understands emerging technology trends in the broader industry and how those can be applied at SFDC. Internally and externally recognized principal, technical or business contributor. Also recognized as a premier technical, industry or product specialist. Has high level of knowledge of relevant technologies, emerging business/ industry trends, competitive technical direction and product direction. May direct others. Works on issues that impact department success or address future concepts, products or technologies. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization. In addition, may integrate research and emerging technologies into company product platforms.
