On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Solution Architect for a contract opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI.
The project underway for this client is a transition of their current environment/platform/applications to SharePoint (one of the biggest apps being Lotus Notes); there is already a Sharepoint and Lotus Notes architect onsite, and a 3rd architect is required to assess all other applications, perform analysis and determine a solution to migrate other 3rd part applications, data and functionality to Sharepoint. Looking for someone with a .Net background, large application migration project experience, ideally to SharePoint.
Need someone who can start immediately, and be willing to travel to the client site in MI and be onsite for the duration of the project (costs to be reimbursed
Solution Architect Job Details
Application Migration with established experience designing customized application migrations in a .Net Framework (C# and .Net The ideal candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate their level of expertise in with the respective technologies as it relates to application migrations. Specifically, the person chosen for this role will have responsibilities for designing solutions to migrate customer application and data from a variety of sources to SharePoint. We are seeking a professional possessing exceptional communications capabilities and proven leadership ability to drive success within a multi-phased client engagement. This individual will achieve success by seamlessly integrating into the client environment and meeting client established delivery milestones for personal assignments.
* Application and data design to migrate customer applications from a variety of source that may require using any/all of the following: .NET, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.Net, MVP, Java Script, J-Query, Java Script Plug ins, and AJAX
* Design migration approach, tools and concepts to transition functionality to SharePoint Develop application development, coding and testing plans for the development team
* Provide design review and best practices to development team in accordance with client project and company standards Ability to manage scope to defined requirement
* Demonstrate strong communication & presentation skills to establish interest, credibility & trust
* The individual will be asked to work independently to develop the migration solutions to meet client needs.
* Must have very good command of the English language (speaking, writing, listening), and quickly assimilate into the client work environment and be adaptable to incorporate client processes, procedures and standards into their work products.
* Previous experience working as a contractor would be a big benefit.
Solution Architect Mandatory Skills
* 10 years minimum experience with .Net or C# application development
* 5 years minimum experience designing customized application migrations from multiple sources (including Lotus Notes, AWS, Cloud and SQL) to SharePoint
* Previous experience work experience (developer or designer) in SharePoint desired
* Previous consulting or contract assignments desired
* Must have excellent communications skills (verbal, written and listening)
