IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Sun Solaris Administrator to join our customer in Mesa, AZ. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Kindly respond with your most up to date resume if you would like to pursue this opportunity.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:
The candidate will provide primary support to three Sun Solaris systems. They consist of a three servers: lab, test, and production. The production server is critical to our processing of financial intake systems, as well as a primary batch scheduler application.
The candidate must have experience to support:
- Solaris SUN systems, specifically T-2000 and T4 servers
- Storage Area Networks (SANs) and how they work with Solaris systems. Experience with EMC storage is a plus.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and drivers associated with Solaris systems, as well as applications built or installed on the hosts
- Have a high degree of understanding Windows and Linux systems
- Have a high degree of understanding local area network design and operations, as these hosts interact with other systems
The ideal candidate:
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have a high degree of problem solving skills
- Be able to work well with other Information Technology engineers
