Required Skills:

Job Description:

Tester 2 (TEST2) - 2 to 4 years relevant experience

The position of software tester2 supports both the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat and the Pennsylvania Game Commissions in testing the specifications and requirements of the Commissions' Pennsylvania Automated License Service (PALS) Systems contract. The position will maintain the role of tester and be required to develop user acceptance test scripts which may include, but are not limited to, RSS, web/internet POS, harvest reporting, IVR systems and full regression testing within an Agile testing environment. The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:

Develop, update, maintain and execute test plans, standards, procedures, test scripts and use case scenarios for user acceptance.

Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments.

Anticipate, identify and resolve testing process questions.

Record, verify, log and document testing results.

Track relevant issues, risks, and action items utilizing Microsoft tracking tools.

Define and utilize success, entry and exit criteria for testing.

Work towards departmental and project deadlines.

Draft & present recommendations and reports to communicate testing results and recommendations, including issue, risk, impact and contingency plans, for approval to team leads, department heads or managers.

Participate in meetings with department heads, managers, leads or vendors to communicate status, results/recommendations, garner cooperation, resolve problems or implement a mitigation/action plan.

Additional collateral duties such as maintain requirement traceability matrix, provide oversite to supplemental testers, assist with related implementation tasks as required, participate in analyzing and evaluating requirements, data mapping and confirmation of migration and testing results as they relate to functional specifications
