Title: Software Test Analyst & Test Lead
Location: Austin, TX 78731
Duration: 16+ Months Contract
No of Positions: 4 + 1(Test Lead)
GC/US Citizens/W2 candidate only
Job Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of project team, conduct QA and testing with end users and customers
2. Define deliverables and execute to a high degree of excellence
3. Work with end users to define expected outcomes and report on defects
4. Additional duties as defined by the Program Manager
5. Assist a small team and identify methods of automating testing
Additionally:
Work with internal resources to develop Test Plans that accurately define the scope of the testing effort, and then create individual test cases that define each test scenario. Once the Test Plan is approved, execute tests, track and communicate the results
Follow Agile principles, working in a mix of Scrum, Kanban and any hybrid mix as needed
Need to collaborate, help each other, and jump in on any task that needs doing
Our Testers help to set priorities and solve problems
Understand business needs, and provide system options/process recommendations to support the request

You’ll work with a variety of solutions targeting Project Bidding and Letting processes , Portfolio Management etc for state agency
Adept at creating Test Summary and Defect Summary documentation
Troubleshoot issues reported by users and work with necessary parties to identify/implement a resolution
Ideal candidates are passionate about developing the best possible quality software product working test-first, in small increments, getting quick feedback from automated regression tests and from stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
-Min. 5 years'' of experience in Testing, API Testing, Manual and Automation Testing
-Experience with Test Automation Tools a plus (Selenium , Java etc), C++, Web Frameworks, and Databases, supported by tests in JUnit, Cucumber, SoapUI etc.
-Knowledge of SQL is a plus
-Knowledge of Agile tools like Rally , JIRA etc
