JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) system is the information system utilized by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) providers, Youth empowerment Services (YES) providers, Local Behavioral Health Authorities (LBHAs) and Behavioral Health Services (BHS) program staff to plan, track, submit claims and report on services provided to clients. Additionally, CMBHS exchanges client information with other systems both internal and external to HHSC that support the delivery of services to clients.

This position will focus on generating test scripts for automating regression testing in multiple development and testing environments. Currently, integration testing is a very resource intensive activity which is very inefficient and thus, costly to the agency. The position will augment the existing efforts to create and deploy test suites for early detection and resolution of new software defects before they are introduced into the production environment.

Other Special Requirements: All entities replying to this request must be able to attest in writing that they are complying with Executive Order RP 80, signed 12/03/2014. In addition, because of the nature of the information in the system that will be upgraded, all entities must sign a Data Use Agreement as a condition of employment. Face-to-face interview required.

Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience

Experience testing C# and .net platform information systems.

Knowledge of testing principles, practices, and techniques.

Full time experience creating and editing automated test suites using tools such as HP/ALM.

Experience with integration testing using automated testing tools

Experience with UML, Use Cases, Asset Management Tool (ClearCase or TFS
