Job Description :
Software Systems Engineer (Multiple Openings) Duties: Responsible for the
design, development, testing, and implementation of real-time, embedded
control systems, primarily for automotive applications. Gather and interpret
technical systems specifications from both internal and external clients.
Design innovative telematics products, utilizing cutting-edge
microprocessors, device drivers, peripherals, data acquisition and
communications hardware, and related real-time systems software, including
C/C++ and Assembly. Use automotive communication protocols, including CAN,
ISO9141, and J1850. Provide unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
of hardware and software systems, using in-circuit emulators.
Location: Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.;
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor - Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study; will
accept equivalent foreign degree; Experience: Two (2) years in the position
above, as a Software Engineer, or in a related embedded systems engineering
role;
Experience must include:
1) Troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis. 2) Unit testing and
SIT (System Integration Testing 3) Queue management using BMC Remedy
application.
