Summary:St. Jude is looking for a candidate who gets excited working on different information technologies and in learning new skills will thrive in the position. As member of a small IT team, the candidate will get involved in different aspects of the software development life cycle and have the opportunity to learn and develop skills for the latest and diverse information technologies and tools that the Biostatistics Department uses to carry out its mission. The Software & Systems Analyst provides assistance in the planning, design, implementation, testing and documentation of software applications that support the mission of the Department of Biostatistics.

The application specifications must integrate into the software systems supported by the Department. This position is responsible for assisting in coordinating application projects, as well as interpreting statistical methodology into code. The position calls for willingness to learn and adapt new methods and technologies. Performs system suppot and other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the Department.

Minimum Education:Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Minimum Experience:One (1) year of experience in software, application, and database development required.Knowledge in programming with object oriented languages including C#, C++ and/or Java.Experience of building clinical trial case report forms in the Medidata Rave Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platform is strongly desirable.C# / ASP.NET /SQL Database/ web services development experience is a plus.Knowledge of software development life cycle and software quality control is a plus.Experience in deployment and maintenance of Windows Server and/or desktop operating systems.Capable of participating in software/hardware release and installation tasks.
