The Software & Systems Analyst provides assistance in the planning, design, implementation, testing and documentation of software applications that support the mission of the Department of Biostatistics. The application specifications must integrate into the software systems supported by the Department. This position is responsible for assisting in coordinating application projects, as well as interpreting statistical methodology into code. The position
calls for willingness to learn and adapt new methods and technologies. Performs system suppot and other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the Department.Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.Minimum Experience:One (1) year of experience in
software, application, and database development required.Knowledge in programming with object oriented languages including C#, C++ and/or Java.C# / ASP.NET /SQL Database/ web services development experience is a plus.Knowledge of software development life cycle and software quality control is a plus.Experience in deployment and maintenance of Windows Server and/or desktop operating systems.
