Position - Software Engineer (s) / Guidewire Developer (s)
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
Work Locations: At our office location in Illinois or unanticipated client locations throughout United States
Duration: Longer term
Required Skills:
Should have good experience in design, development, coding, testing and debugging of Guidewire applications and make significant enhancements to existing software.
Able to create new data model elements and extending the existing applications data model with new properties
Able to develop and enhance Guidewire systems and/or software from general requirements and specifications across multiple platforms, applications and projects.
Develop, document, maintain, and make recommendations for standards, guidelines, and Process improvement
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Develop code that conforms to The Hartford coding standards and industry best practices.
Work closely with the architecture team to ensure that the technical solution designs and implementation are consistent with the architectural vision.
Strong Technical and Stakeholder Communication Skill
Experience in Guidewire configuration and integration development using GOSU with PolicyCenter 7.0/8.0.
Ability to work on Guidewire Plug-ins, Messaging, API.
SOAP/Restful Web Services, XML and XSD.
Experience in Database technologies such as Oracle, ORM.
Should have good knowledge in JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, JQuery, CSS and HTML5.
Able to ensure quality in deliverables

Team Coordination skills
Educational Requirement(s):
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Or
Master’s degree in any Engineering field from any University in the United States with 1+ industry experience also considered
