Technical Sales Engineer with prior technical and business experience responsible for co-creating solutions with customers and researchers. Assess market requirements, conduct market research and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) with customers. Ability to conduct demos and explain technologies at events and customer briefing center. Strong customer presence and ability to speak to technology and market trends.
We are looking for someone with a basic general Java or Python background. Even if coding experience was in college. This is more of a technical product manager/sales engineer role. It involves talking to customers in our client's demo center, maintaining and giving demos, making customer-facing presentations, speaking about technology, trends, market research, etc. Clients come in, you will present various existing solutions, show demos, and then may co-create and/or build a custom program solution for the client (build APIs, or user interface, integrate it for them So from a technical standpoint, this candidate needs to know how to take something that’s already been built and create new solutions with prototype/demos/POCs.
Technical Sales Engineer Mandatory Skills
Ability to develop technology prototypes using Java, Python, JavaScript etc.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills needed.
Possess strong problem-solving and decision making skills. Ability to work independently, apply judgment, maintain stable performance under stress and flexibility in an evolving work environment.
Proven presentation skills.
5-7 years in software, systems engineering, product management, or equivalent
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration. Keen sense and aptitude for technology a must.
