Job Description :

Role: Software Engineer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: Full Time

Skill Required
7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in JavaScript based web development
Experience working on Node.JS, JQuery, and at least one of ReactJS, EmberJS, AngularJS
Experience with build and dependency management tools (e.g. npm, Webpack, gulp)
Work in projects where with a mindset of automating everything (testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
Working knowledge of Python and experience with either Java or Scala
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and experience with one or more of AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
Worked in an agile Environment and knows agile processes like Scrum and Kanban
Experience in working with Unix/Linux environment
Responsibilities:
Extending and customizing an open source data catalog application to create a compelling and delightful user experience
Ensuring our internal single sign on experience works well and looks great
Assist in other front-end application, sometimes advising, sometimes getting hands-on
Creating technical documentation
Improving automation and test coverage (unit/integration/user acceptance tests, etc
Keeping up to date with modern software engineering technologies

Nice to have:
Great UX design chops
Experience with data driven applications
