Duration : 6 months contract 2 hire(for sure will covert to Fulltime)

Description :
Support enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting on at least two large packaged applications, used and managed by this specific team.
Not expecting to find an expert in these apps, but instead, someone who is a strong overall developer and able to work well with others.
Typical workday involves project work (scripting, batch job creations, data conversions, etc) and support of the apps (including desktop support
Would learn the details of how these apps work and the current environment from a developer who is retiring and another developer who manages an equivalent system on our commercial business.
Responsibilities :
Systems and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, validation and verification testing, and documentation for system and software requirements
Perform software development through design for requirements using various programming languages, libraries and file formats, programming tools, and CM tools
Conduct software integration and systems testing on target hardware
Develop, implement, document, and review software for expected results
External interface with software suppliers
Interface directly with end user/customer
Experience:
Programming languages, libraries and file formats include Java, JQuery, SQL (database) XML (including Xpath/Xquery), SVG (Graphics/Plotting), VBA, and C#
Programming tools include Oracle (Database), Eclipse (Development Environment), Microsoft Access
Configuration Management tools include SourceSafe, SVN, PVCS
Preferred:
IT Level II certification with Security +, Windows 7/10 operating systems, and Windows Server 2012/2016
Raytheon Eagle LSA, Eagle Publishing System (EPS), PTC Arbortext, Windchill
