he Six Sigma Black Belt role is specifically designed to facilitate significant quality, process and performance improvement activities. Six Sigma Black Belts are deployed throughout the organization to identify process defects and to implement improvement strategies. All Black Belts will use Six Sigma methodology and metrics to plan, design and accomplish key projects and business objectives. This position requires training and certification through a Six Sigma accredited organization. This is a full time position which may require flexibility of hours and is not eligible for paid overtime.
Experience/Training:
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma (DMAIC) and CAP. PDCA, required. Healthcare experience in acute environments. Proven track record of highly effective presentations to all levels of management. Successful track record of sustainable projects. ROI calculation & buy-in. Green belt development program/mentorship for employees. Large scale project management & implementation, preferred. Database querying & dashboard development, preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Healthcare Management or Computer Science, preferred. MBA related industry, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Black Belt certification required. PMP preferred. SQL querying & warehousing, preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical/problem solving and idea-generating skills in data collection required. Experience with Minitab. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. MS Project, Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheet , preferred.
