Sitecore provides content management, commerce and digital marketing in a single platform to help
companies build better digital experiences for their customers. As a Sitecore Architect, you will work
closely with companies to understand their business needs and convert these requirements into a
designed solution. You will also evaluate the current state of an organization’s architecture and platform
and provide recommendations to improve system performance, scalability and reliability. The ideal
candidate will have 12+ years of experience developing web-based applications using # and
Sitecore and 2 years of experience architecting website implementations using Sitecore CMS.
Key Responsibilities
Work with customers to identify requirements, develop plans, estimates and delivery models for new
Sitecore instances. Configure Sitecore according to deployment architecture.
Configure and deploy Sitecore in a scalable architecture based on best practices and implementation
strategies, define content and database replication strategies and assist in Sitecore and infrastructure
security related issues.
Estimate and recommend hardware sizing for Sitecore deployment, implement maintenance plans,
support architecture and design team, handle infrastructure-related changes and requests from
stakeholders and project teams.
Keep up to date on new Sitecore releases, recommend migration paths from current Sitecore
deployments and develop best practices for deployment and configuration to ensure smooth Sitecore
deployments.
Experience Required
12+ years of industry experience developing web-based applications using # and
Sitecore
2 years of experience architecting website implementations using Sitecore CMS
Experience working with Sitecore DMS for Web Analytics and Personalization
Experience designing multichannel distribution and social channels
Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
Architecting external systems integration, like CRM tools with Sitecore CMS
Converting business requirements into solution designs with understanding of modular issues
Evaluating current state of architecture and platforms and providing recommendations for
improving performance, scalability and reliability
Migrating data in a highly-integrated enterprise application
Education
Technical degree required; computer science degree desired
Sitecore certification
Sitecore MVP Status – Highly preferable
