Site Reliability Engineer
RTP, NC
Development of design-based project plans to develop and implement SRE based cloud services
Development technical requirements for cloud-computing service area
Basic qualifications:
5-8+ years’ experience in Cloud Service development, compute engineering, automation, architecture and implementation
5+ years working with Linux or Unix environments
5+ years’ experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodes
Strong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce)
Experience in management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity
Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments
Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. Selenium, JMeter)
Understanding and experience with code deployment (tagging)
Hands on experience with monitoring & logging tools like (Prometheus, FluentD, ELK, Splunk
Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Sensu, Graphana/Graphite, Incinga, SiteScope, etc.
Familiarity with CloudFormation and JSON
Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST)
