Previous experience developing reports in Simcorp Dimension
Knowledge in Risk or Back office functions such as settlement, clearing, accounting, reconciliation domain would be desired
Knowledge of Regulations such as 40 act and others focusing on cash forecasting or client performance reporting is plus
Manage an development team implementing Simcorp dimension product (Core platform project) and migrating data & functionalities from exiting back office applications. The product is Windows based and highly configurable to managing Settlement, Conformation, Margining and Ledger functions. The candidate is required to knowledge in Asset management space. The role is to manage one or more projects teams to deliver the change within Asset management back office (Operations

The Development team lead is responsible for the various tasks in end to end projects including integration of core platform with up-stream and downstream systems, migration of a large suite of reports, file feeds or interface connections from the legacy accounting platform onto the Core Operating Platform.

The key responsibilities of your role are:

Review current suite of reports and work with the recipients to determine if the reports should be migrated to dashboards, equivalent reports, feeds etc.

Documentation of the required end state for each report

Identification opportunities for consolidation of reports to reduce the migration activities

Where appropriate configuration of dashboard views / Coric reports / business objects reports on the Core Platform

Configuration of reconciliation tools on the Core Platform to compare the legacy and the new output

Coordination with business users to ensure efficient UAT testing

Accurate and timely status reporting and escalation


Technical analysis of existing reports and creating specifications for the future state of each report and feed

Implementing the new report on the Core Platform Oracle data warehouse

Creation of necessary file transfer jobs

Liaising with recipients of reports to ensure reports meet requirements

Providing assistance to upstream/downstream systems to ease their migration to the new reports

Accurate and timely status reporting and escalation


Leading the development work executed by the team

Hands on to assist the team in their work

Planning, scheduling, managing the work slate and the progress of the migration activities

Socialising plans with up and downstream systems, arranging appropriate levels of input from those teams to achieve the goals of the decoupling project

Risk and issue management, escalation where these can''t be managed internally

Status reporting to project and program management

You have:
Experience working on complex, multi-work stream programs

Technical and/or business analysis skills that allow you to assess and communicate the impact to users or to owners of the up / downstream application

Strong experience of relational databases in particular Oracle and Informix

ETL tool experience, in particular Informatica

Experience of creating reports and dashboards in BI tools such as Business Objects and Tableau

Simcorp Dimension and/or Coric will experience will be a distinct advantage

Successful implementation of reports on the Core Platform, and the decommissioning of reports on the legacy platform

Effective communication of dependencies to up and downstream applications

Timely and accurate reporting of progress and effective escalation of risks and issues
