The SharePoint Programmer Analyst (SPA) is part of a team that reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, installing and documenting to support the SharePoint systems.
The SPA consults with users to identify current procedures and to clarify and help identify enhancements or new development requirements.
A SPA will be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
The SPA will triage issues and investigate failed jobs to resolve impacting issues.
A SPA should be familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other Duties May be Assigned
Provide support and maintenance for MIS applications.
Works with users to identify requirements and provides automated solutions that are sustainable, well written, tested and documented.
Works as part of a team to develop systems that meet our end users’ needs
Develop custom applications using approved coding languages and tools
Work with Project Managers as a development resource, meeting timelines and deliverables as assigned.
Assist in the development of interfaces between control and information software.
Develops ad-hoc reports on an as needed basis.
Assist in the installation of software patches, service packs, and updates.
Follow and adhere to SDLC
Act as liaison between MIS and other Departments.
Utilizes software tools for documentation and communication.
May assist in development, testing, and deployment of handheld devices.
Perform relational database management systems work as needed.
Cooperate in the development of and adherence to high quality standards and goals.
Provide on-call support on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
A bachelor''s degree in a related area and 2-6 years of experience in the field
Should be familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts.

Education and/or Experience
BA/BS in Information Technology or related field. Prior technological experience a plus.
