Job Description:
The DFPS Operations Division seeks one worker to perform in a SharePoint Analyst role to assist in planning and coordinating the development of a SharePoint workflow tracking system. The SharePoint Analyst will work with stakeholders within the agency to refine requirements, develop solutions, and document procedures for the resulting SharePoint workflow and approval process for various action item procedures. The worker will initially report to point of contact within Chief Operating Officer program area for specific workflow and approvals of high-profile action items that require tracking, reporting, approvals, and other workflow needs.

Work involves the following:
Developing the workflow solution in the SharePoint portal in a manner that is both
aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to the end user.
Implementing the final solution into the production environment.
Creating a comprehensive set of documentation for use by both end users and
administrators of the application.
Communicating with technical, non-technical, functional, and other management staff as
necessary to plan, implement, document, and complete project.
Work experience should include the following:
Five (5) years of experience developing SharePoint sites and creating workflow solutions.
Five (5) years’ experience working with stakeholder groups to define project requirements,
goals, and documentation.
Excellent communication skills to provide status updates and inform stakeholders and
agency leadership.
Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience as with developing SharePoint sites and creating workflow
solutions.
5 Experience planning and implementing SharePoint solutions
5 Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation with a keen attention to
detail
5 Experience with other Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and
Visio)
3 Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong Presentation skills for facilitation and delivery of information

Preferred (Optional):
Years Skills/Experience
1 Experience with public sector (e.g., federal, state or local government)
