SharePoint Consultant
As a SharePoint Consultant you will be part of a large team of SharePoint experts responsible for integrating collaboration capabilities into the solutions we deliver to our customers. This role will work closely with the R&D Divisional SharePoint Collaboration Leads in support of demand management and provide operational support across all aspects of a SharePoint Collaboration Project including supporting end users and designing site solutions.
Working with the Divisional Collaboration Leads you will be expected to manage and implement tasks/deliverables associated with a SharePoint Site and/or project including but not limited to:
Building New Sites/Landing Pages
Building New Subsites
Configuring Sites (included enhanced site setups)
Creating/Maintaining Security Model
Creating/Maintaining Documentation
Site Health Checks
Site/Subsite Retrofit
Archiving Sites
Metrics (including the use of AvePoint)
Using migration tools to migrate site or portions of site (including the use of AvePoint and Metalogix)
In delivering this work, you will be expected to:
Have strong Customer Service Skills
Become familiar with the various stages of drug development
Comprehend existing SharePoint site permission models
Troubleshoot user challenges with SharePoint Sites
Share best practices that apply across businesses and regions
Communicate clearly, apply strong writing and presentation skills
Work independently and within a team structure
Understand and support SharePoint services model
Qualifications
Proficient in building SharePoint Online Collaboration Sites.
Excellent project management, customer service, and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Familiarity with social media platforms and practices.
Strong computer skills including MS Office 365 and especially a demonstrated mastery of SharePoint Online. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and other scripting languages a plus. Experience with AvePoint and Metalogix tools also a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
