Our client is looking for a SharePoint SME/Architect that can assist in the teardown and rebuild of custom SharePoint 2010 sites in SharePoint 2016.
The SharePoint Sites were built using custom code. This custom code is NOT supported in SharePoint 2016. The goal is to remove that custom code, and replace it, (as possible), with standard SharePoint 2016 functionality. The internal team has a good handle on the actual migration, but needs a resource that can spend time making the changes and preparing the site for migration.
*Upgrade the clients internal communication/team sites from 2010 to 2016 SharePoint *Be very familiar coding within SharePoint 2010 and 2016 *Have the ability to confidently rewrite code from SP 2010 into best in class SP
2016 *Much of the 2010 custom code will not transfer to 2016 *Migration
