Role: ServiceNow Architect
Duration: 6+ months

As a ServiceNow Architect, you will design, develop, and implement solutions that enable the company to replace legacy manual processes, assist clients/staff to quickly locate and track orders, to lead efforts to quickly detect, report, or resolve issues as needed, manage all efforts and monitor metrics to measure success and responsiveness of services. You will also review processes to eliminate service gaps, and lead efforts to identify opportunities with a focus on growth and expanded efficiency.
The ServiceNow Architect will:
Lead the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise Service Management solutions using ServiceNow.
Be responsible for strategies and technical solutions proposed/implemented and for coordinating all changes pushed to the production environment
Oversee all aspects of the design and maintenance of a global configuration management database (CMDB) in ServiceNow
Deliver passionate, persuasive, strategic, and technically competent ServiceNow expertise to our global user and customer base
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all aspects and strategies regarding ServiceNow.
Advise, inform, and communicate to customers/users on workflow design
Manage the workload of an offshore development team. Provide functional guidance in their day-to-day activities. Advise them on following best practices and industry standards.
Development effort includes (but not limited to) enhancements, customized portal webpages, portal consolidation, automated workflow solutions, advanced scripting of business rules, UI policies, client scripts, 3rd party software integrations, bi-directional API-based solutions etc.
Lead administration of ServiceNow instances (environment sync, upgrades, quarterly patches etc
Stay current with capabilities of ServiceNow platform. Be proactive about knowledge sharing
Assist in defining service management strategy for the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related discipline, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional experience in design and development in ServiceNow
Certified ServiceNow Application Developer
System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities
Expert knowledge of ITSM and ITIL
Experience implementing best-practices and procedures
