Principal Engineer – ServiceNow Administrator

United is seeking a key team member to support its move to the ServiceNow Platform. The Engineer will participate in project work – configuration, integration and data.

Responsibilities
Version – Jakarta, Kingston
Modules – Portal, HR, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Catalog, CMDB
Work includes on-call and out-of-hour response to outage or critical incidents
Act as ServiceNow L2 expert for platform incidents and defects
ServiceNow Developer
Member of Platform team
Manage platform upgrades
Manage MID servers & discovery and ensure correctness of CMDB
Manage ServiceNow integrations
Develop and maintain Platform best practices and standards
Ensure security best practices are followed and correctly implemented
Provide technical direction and training to Platform team
Design, implement and manage process automation using Orchestration
Project-work as Agile team member
Education & Certification
B.S. in IT related field OR degree and equivalent work experience
ServiceNow Certifications – preferred
ITIL Certification – preferred
Experience
10+ years IT experience, 4+ years working on ServiceNow
Jakarta+ - preferred
ServiceNow Portal, HR, ITSM, Customer Service, Service Catalog, MID Servers, Discovery Probes, Notify, Integrations, , Transform Maps – preferred
BDNA – preferred
JavaScript, xml – preferred
Agile Scrum - preferred
