Candidate needs to be a stellar developer, but also will act as an architect and mentor to help the current ServiceNow Admin. learn development skills

MUST HAVE:
1) ServiceNow Administrator certificate
2) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or relevant work experience)
3) Extensive experience configuring the ServiceNow platform, including in-depth experience with ServiceNow modules
4) Development experience with the Self Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS)
5) JavaScript, APIs & Web Services, Relational Database Design
Summary:
The ServiceNow Developer will be a key player on the IT Operations team, as s/he will be supporting the platform driving many IT and Corporate functions. This individual will be responsible for meeting with customers (internal) face-to-face to clarify requirements and design solutions for processes, workflows, and enhancements. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining business solutions using the ServiceNow platform. This includes troubleshooting, writing instructions and documentation, working with other technical and non-technical team members, as well as looking for ways to improve existing business processes and solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the management and maintenance of the daily use of the platform
Address user issues and provide timely responses/solutions to problems as needed
Work with various groups to outline desired platform needs
Obtain and analyze requirements, develop specifications, and design innovative solutions to business problems; gather requirements for enhancements, projects, and feature requests
Estimate project timelines and resource requirements
Develop, configure, and improve core and custom applications
Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation
Coordinate the testing and QA of enhancements/changes to ServiceNow using sandbox environments
Work to interface ServiceNow with other related systems, both internal and to partners
Provide training assistance to users on the core use of the platform
Work with various departments throughout the organization to create the best possible product and to maintain a timely and accurate delivery of requested enhancements
Utilize ServiceNow and other IT reporting tools to create business-focused metrics
Utilize ServiceNow and other IT reporting tools to create internal IT metrics designed to improve internal IT processes and functions
Use the metrics created to develop SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and OLAs (Operating Level Agreements) both internal and external to IT; write knowledge base articles and support end users by answering questions and providing basic training on applications, policies, and procedures

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; relevant work experience is acceptable
ServiceNow Administrator certificate required
ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred
Qualifications:
Extensive experience configuring the ServiceNow platform: Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, Access Controls (ACLs), Roles, User Administration, Single Sign-On integration, scheduled imports, Workflow, MID Servers, and SLAs
In-depth experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog and Request, Service Portal, Knowledge, Configuration (CMDB – Discovery & Service Mapping), Human Resources, Project & Portfolio Management, and Reporting
Development experience with the Self Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS)
Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Scrum is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment of continuous change and challenges
Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical team members – both written and verbal
Organized, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
Problem-solving and root cause identification skills
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels in an organization
Must be able to work collaboratively with and through others
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
