Role: Service Integration Architect
Location: Dearborn, MI


Job Summary:

The Service Integration Specialist will collaborate with Architects and Software Designers to implement ESB and API Management technology for integration of internal and external systems. Will be responsible for technology implementation and rollout on integration points for major product or application launches and supporting integrations post launch. In addition, this position may supervise internal or external team members and vendors.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Collaborate with Architects and Software Designers to implement ESB and API Management technology.
2. Collaborate with Testing CoE for coordinating integration tests between systems.
3. Design, configure, and develop ESB message flows between systems.
4. Administer and configure interface and integration servers.
5. Implement SSL solutions, certificate handling and signature verification.
6. Deploy and configure MQs.
7. Troubleshoot SOA integration of systems including performance.
8. Perform tasks including: un-deploying components, configure ESB with databases, creating and configuring ESB components.
9. Support ESB, Secure Gateway, and API Manager technology product lifecycle, including patches and upgrade planning.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:
Must have a BA/BS in Information Technology or related field.

Experience:

Must have at least 5 years of experience with ESB.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with API Management.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with integration across a wide range of technologies including Java/J2EE, .NET, and Single Sign On.
Must have experience with SOAP and RESTful Web-services with encryption.
Must have experience with queuing technology.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have 2 years of experience with IBM Integration Bus.
Must have 2 years of experience with IBM API Connect.
Must have 2 years of experience with IBM DataPower Gateway (virtual or physical
Must have 2 years of experiences with Message Queue (e.g. IBM MQ, Active MQ, Rabbit MQ
Should have 2 years of experience with Kafka queues.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be able and willing to participate as individual contributor as needed.
Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
Must be able to read UML diagrams.
