Candidates would ideally be local to Boston area but we are open to non-local candidates if they will come to Boston for an on-site interview (Skype will not be accepted)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Description:
Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Web/Mobile Developer will work closely with stakeholders across the business in a pursuit to solve problems with technology. This will include a combination of implementing new solutions, administration of existing solutions and contributing to our client’s application architecture.
Implementation of new solutions
Lead technical role for the implementation of commercial off the shelf (COTS) software
Hands on development of custom built solutions, including websites and mobile applications
Production of technical documentation for transition to technical support teams
Administration of existing solutions
Lead technical role for the maintenance of existing application solutions
Development and release of minor enhancements
Guide the work of 3rd party providers (e.g. SharePoint and O365 managed service provider)
Drive technical support issues to the IT Service Desk
Must haves:
Extensive experience with Javascript, JQuery, PHP, .NET frameworks and APIs
Strong knowledge of and experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST, etc)
Previous hands-on mobile development experience (iOS)
Knowledge of relational databases
Nice to haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience gathering technical requirements
