Job Description:
Manager is looking for a user-experience / product designer responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other strategic deliverables. Candidate will also help design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative solutions to difficult challenges using a human-centered design methodology
- Partner with fellow UX / product designers, product managers, agile development teams and business partners to identify and enact opportunities
- Coordinate and conduct appropriate user experience techniques throughout a product lifecycle across design, research, and evaluation
- Identify and execute research or immersion activities including contextual inquiries, interviews, focus groups, design sprints, journey mapping sessions, card sorts, UX testing, and other techniques
- Create team and business aligning deliverables including concise research documentation, personas, current / to be journey maps, workflows, storyboards, wireframes/comps, prototypes, and similar deliverables
- Analyze and present research results to a wide range of audiences
- Make design recommendations via wireframes or comps based on expertise and conducted research
- Express concepts through clear visuals and storytelling
- Contribute to strategic meetings and decisions
- Design within an enterprise design system to craft solutions to customer design problems
- Encourage and uphold high standards for our product experiences
- Serve as an ambassador and educator for Product Design within the org and in the broader community
- Welcome opportunities to leverage UX experiences in consulting and coaching Agile teams on best UX practices and optimal UI design patterns
- Take smart risks and champion new ideas

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field
- Demonstrable experience in mobile and web-based products, projects and enterprise systems
- Demonstrate strong user research, interaction design, requirement gathering, prototyping, and overall UX skills applied in various situations
- Strong acumen in Axure, InVision, Sketch, JustinMind or similar prototyping/design tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passionate about human-centered design (HCD), User Experience (UX), and Design Thinking

Bonus Skills/Experience:
- Strong visual design skills and fluency in Adobe CS and other high fidelity tools
- Masters or Ph.D. in HCI, Design, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field
- Experience in agriculture, biotechnology, and/or government regulated industries
- HTML, CSS, and JS skills are a plus

Additional Info:
- On a typical day, this role could involve a wide variety of activities including facilitating research efforts with end users, coaching and mentoring development teams, to iterating creative content with the rest of the Product Design team. Manager craft loveable human-centered experiences through a variety of delivery systems that include desktop and mobile

- Will work as a part of a team providing HCD/UX services across various development, product management, and business stakeholder initiatives within our internal Field Platform.
- Manager are a part of a larger team of creatives and researchers who are fun, laid back and incredibly focused on helping our stakeholders craft experiences that form deep emotional connections with their users while potentially changing their lives in extremely significant ways. Product Design has existed in various incarnations over the years but the Field Platform within PD is one of the longest standing areas and has made great strides in raising UX maturity in the organization.
