Job Description :
Role- Senior Test Automation Engineer
Duration- 12+ months with possible extension
Location- Washington, DC
Interview format:- 1st phone, 2nd In-Person
Tasks:
Participate in Agile/Scrum and WaterFall activities.
Working closely with functional testers, analyze requirements to determine the appropriate testing methods and processes for supporting automated continuous integration and regression testing.
Participate Test Automation framework design and development – Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Selenium
Support Claims testing using Model Based Testing(MBT) methodologies
Support regression automation testing
Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools. Expand business knowledge of product benefits, corporate policies, division and department goals and department procedures.
Participate in project work group meetings (internal/external peer reviews, walk through, status meetings, JAD sessions etc
Required Skills:
Must have experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Must have a minimum 10 years of experience in test automation framework development including Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Selenium.
Must have a minimum 8 years of experience using scripting and programming languages (VB Script, Perl Script, JavaScript, java etc. Object Oriented Design (OOD) and work experience with HTML, CSS, HTTP.
Must have experience using HP ALM.
Must have 3 to 5 years of experience with MS SQL server or other databases; proven proficiency with writing complex SQL, PL-SQL and T-SQL.
Must be able to work independently with minimal assistance and be able to pick up business knowledge quickly.
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to:
Conduct walkthroughs with internal and external teams.
Produce testing documents and/or test cases
Must have thorough analytical skills in identifying root cause of issues.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Preferred Skills:
Experience in healthcare industry.
Experience in continuous integration testing within DevOp environment.
