Job Description
Configure, install, and upgrade our in-house-built applications for hosted customers
Monitor applications and system performance in production environments, using tools like Nagios or similar
Work with SQL tools to perform queries, to copy and upgrade databases
Be a part of the technical team performing on code deployments and upgrades
Create and maintain documentation
Improve and maintain automation scripts/tools used by the Technical Services team to complete routine tasks
Troubleshoot software performance and functionality issues by reviewing log files and working with various internal teams
Automate tasks and create efficiencies by writing scripts in Unix shell, Python or similar
Work with the Unix Administration/Networking teams to resolve OS and communications issues to ensure compliance with service level agreements

What you''ll bring to the team
5+ years of proven success in a fast-paced 24x7 production environment
Ability to monitor application and system performance to ensure reliability and availability
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues
Ability to write and execute SQL and complex shell scripts
Demonstrated ability to automate with Powershell, Python or a similar scripting language
Solid understanding of supporting applications in Unix/Linux environments - Similar Windows familiarity a strong plus
Understanding of monitoring database performance a plus
Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business including peers, technical management, customers and/or external vendors
Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Flexibility to be a part of a rotational on-call schedule as an escalation point
