Position: Senior Systems / Solutions Engineer
Location: Times Square, NY
Duration: It’s C2H position. Client will hire full time 3-6 months period

Company is growing and seeks senior engineer that can help with IT vision and support to move from "mom & pop" to a fluid mid-to-large size organization.
Ideal candidate will step in to ''manage'' the infrastructure.
Seeking Senior Systems Engineer to support Level 3 escalations and lead/support a variety of ongoing tech projects.
Experience working in, supporting and/or migrating to a cloud (Azure or AWS) ecosystem
Must have Office365 working experience
Senior expertise in troubleshooting, supporting and managing - Windows servers (Dell a plus), Exchange, Active Directory, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare - 40 to 50 current virtual servers), fundamental networking experience (WAN, VLAN), Firewalls, storage
Experience in DevOps a plus (to help with future state)
Powershell a plus
Database understanding a plus
Linux experience is a big plus (some apps are running in Azure)
Some travel to Pleasanton, CA (co-lo site) may be requested
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
8+ years of progressive experience as an IT System Administrator
Experience managing and maintaining enterprise grade network infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned work and follow through to completion
Extensive experience in maintaining and administering Active Directory and Windows Server environments
Hands on knowledge of virtualization and cloud solutions including Hyper-V, VMware, Microsoft Azure and Office 365
Familiar with security/privacy regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Top 20 Security Controls
Experience in a healthcare IT environment is preferred
Positive attitude, ability to work independently, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable following documented policies and procedures
Ability to work after hours and travel as needed
